Head Coach

 

 

The Richardson Sport Head Coach plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of multi-sport programs. This individual is responsible for various tasks, including staff and equipment organization, hiring new coaches, equipment management, customer service support, liaising with schools/daycares, sales and marketing efforts, and overall programming coordination.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • RSI Customer Service Support to Manager:

    • Assist the manager with inquiries about RSI programs.

    • Support marketing initiatives.

    • Service established relationships and answer phones when necessary.

  • RSI Equipment Management:

    • Ensure coaches have clean, full sets of equipment.

    • Maintain records of equipment stock.

    • Order missing equipment and organize storage.

  • RSI Head Coach:

    • Assess staff once per season and conduct follow-up assessments.

    • Assist in planning and running staff workshops.

    • Oversee mentoring of new coaches and facilitate communication.

    • Conduct initial training for new coaches and participate in the hiring process.

  • RSI School/Daycare Liaison Support to Manager:

    • Manage existing school relationships and facilitate the transfer to the program manager.

    • Complete proposals for new schools/daycares.

    • Assist in information transfer and relationship development with the program manager.

    • Cultivate relationships with new schools/daycares initiating programs.

  • RSI Sales and Marketing:

    • Manage location signs and conduct flyer drop-offs for school programs.

    • Ensure posters are displayed at each program center.

    • Collaborate with the program manager on promotional checklists.

    • Work on lead generation follow-up and maintenance.

  • RSI Programming:

    • Collaborate with recreation programs to offer RSI programs year-round.

    • Maintain class lists, numbers, and programs throughout the season.

    • Schedule all RSI staff using Google Calendar based on programming.

    • Conduct quarterly year-over-year numbers comparison through Amilia.

    • Coordinate birthday party staff schedules and send out party contracts.

Job Details:

  • Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Salary: From $27.00 per hour

  • Expected hours: 35 per week

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed

Mulptisport COach

 

We are currently seeking a part-time Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring excitement and enthusiasm to the position, contributing to a team dedicated to creating positive experiences for children and youth. The Coach will play a key role in ensuring the success of sports programs through the delivery of company programs and activities.

Qualities and Abilities:

  • Able to work independently with groups of up to 12 children.

  • Maintains a friendly and outgoing disposition in a child-friendly environment.

  • Adaptable and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Skills and Accomplishments:

  • Demonstrated history of handling and maintaining sports equipment.

  • Possesses a Class 5 Driver’s License.

  • Successfully completed and passed a Criminal Record Check.

  • Holds Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C qualifications.

  • Legal resident of Canada with all necessary documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize and conduct program activities.

  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of sports equipment inventory.

  • Transport sports equipment to and from program sites.

  • Adapt and conduct company programs and activities at program sites.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants throughout company programs.

  • Complete additional tasks as required by the head coach.

Job Details:

  • Salary: $25.00 per hour

  • Benefits: Flexible schedule

Schedule:

  • Evening shift

  • Every Weekend

  • Morning shift

  • Weekends as needed

  • Weekends only

Licence/Certification:
